GIV.org.au is a new and cooperative initiative by four leading charities aimed primarily at reducing illegal dumping at charitable donation points and educating the community about the required quality standards for donated goods.

It also aims to provide information to the community on options they have for the disposal of items that are not suitable for donation.

Lastly, GIV.org.au aims to encourage potential donators to direct their donations to registered charities rather than commercial operators posing as charities, by clearly identifying the participating charities with GIV.org.au logo.
